These terms and conditions apply between Rose Virtual Medical Services PTY LTD and each person who uses the site (“you”). You agree with the following:
Medical emergencies: If you require immediate medical attention, contact your treating general practitioner or call 000.
DO NOT USE THE PLATFORM IF:
You have or think you may have an emergency or critical condition or symptom, including, but in no way limited to:
- Severe chest pain
- Heart attack
- Stroke
- Loss of consciousness
- Severe bleeding
- Breathing difficulty
If you are in doubt about the seriousness of your condition, the appropriateness or effectiveness of using this Platform or believe that you, or anyone is in an urgent, dangerous or emergency situation, you should not use the Platform and instead contact 000 immediately or seek alternative and appropriate medical services.
1.1. Rose Virtual Medical Services operates the website located at www.rosemedical.com.au (Site), www.rosemedical.au and other related websites. The Site assists you to access e-health and telemedicine services by providing an interface between you and health care practitioners who also use the Site.
1.2. Rose Virtual Medical Services PTY LTD does not itself provide any medical or health service but merely provides the platform which enables you to access health services from a health care practitioner.
1.3. Rose Virtual Medical Services PTY LTD does not employ any health care practitioner or have a financial interest in any health care practitioner but does receive part of the fee paid by you for each e-health or telemedicine service provided to you by a health care practitioners via the Site.
1.4. Any medical or health information provided to you by Rose Virtual Medical Services PTY LTD has been prepared by the health care practitioners and is forwarded to you by Rose Virtual Medical Services PTY LTD in good faith but without offering or providing medical or health advice.
- Health care Services
2.1. Rose Virtual Medical Services PTY LTD does not guarantee that an e-health or telemedicine consultation is the appropriate course of treatment for your particular health care problem. The health care practitioner has the sole discretion to decide whether or not an e-health consultation is appropriate, whether or not to provide any particular service and to determine the health services required.
2.2. In some circumstances a physical examination, blood tests, diagnostic imaging or other tests may be required. These cannot be delivered via an e-health consultation. If the health care practitioner decides that any or all of these are required the health care practitioner will direct you to make an appointment for an in practice consultation with your local general practitioner or attend your local emergency department.
2.3. You consent to information about yourself, your health and your current medications including, but not limited to, the information you divulge as part of the online consultation assessment to be viewed and exchanged by and between Rose Virtual Medical Services PTY LTD employees and any health care practitioners for the purpose of conducting a medical consultation. You understand and agree that this information may be exchanged electronically. All services provided by this Website are provided on a ‘best endeavours’ basis. Consultation requests made electronically from this Website will be forwarded to a health care practitioner as soon as possible.
- Your obligations
3.1. You agree to contact your own doctor immediately if directed to do so or if your condition changes or your symptoms worsen.
3.2. You agree to provide all information requested by Rose Virtual Medical Services PTY LTD or a health care practitioner and warrant that all information which you provide is true and fully complete.
3.3. You must inform and keep the health care practitioner informed of any side effects or other issues arising from any treatment provided by the health care practitioner through the website.
3.4. You must inform your GP and any other health care professional about any medical treatment received via the website.
3.5. If you do not understand any question asked in our website assessment or any advice given by a health care practitioner, you should seek clarification immediately.
- Fees
4.1 Fees and Refunds
When you request one of the e-health services provided by a Health Provider via the Site, you must pay the applicable fee. The fee is charged for the Health Provider’s time in reviewing your request, conducting any consultation, and making a clinical assessment. The fee is not charged for any guaranteed outcome, including the issue of a medical certificate, consultation note, prescription, referral, or other document. For single-day medical certificate requests which have retrospective dates 2 or more calendar days before today they are billed at the multi-day certificate rate.
If Rose Virtual Medical Services Pty Ltd or the Health Provider is unable to provide the requested service before any consultation or clinical assessment has commenced, the fee will be refunded.
If you are not contactable or unavailable for a scheduled consultation, we will endeavour to contact you for a further 48 hours. If the consultation cannot proceed because you are not contactable or unavailable during that period, no refund will be payable.
Once a consultation or clinical assessment has commenced, the service will be taken to have been provided and no change of mind refund will be payable, whether or not any medical certificate, consultation note, prescription, referral, or other document is ultimately issued.
4.1A Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, including where services are not provided with due care and skill, are not fit for purpose, or are not supplied within a reasonable time.
4.2. You understand that Rose Virtual Medical Services PTY LTD is not covered under Medicare Australia at this time, no Medicare rebate is available and there is no bulk billing option offered as part of this service.
4.3. Turnaround Time
Rose Virtual Medical Services PTY LTD aims to process most medical certificate requests within 2 hours during normal business hours. However, processing times may vary depending on practitioner availability, clinical complexity, and demand.
Business hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM AEST (excluding public holidays). Requests submitted outside of business hours may be processed on the next business day.
By using the platform, you acknowledge and accept that the delivery of your certificate may take up to 48 hours from the time your completed assessment and payment are received. The 48 hour timeframe does not include weekends or public holidays.
If you have not received your certificate within 48 hours, you may be eligible for a refund in accordance with our Refund Policy.
5. Release of liability
5.1. You release Rose Virtual Medical Services PTY LTD from all responsibility for health and medical matters including information provided to you about those health and medical matters and acknowledge these are the responsibility of the Health Provider.
5.2. You agree that Rose Virtual Medical Services PTY LTD is not liable for any loss, damage, expense or claim arising from damage, loss, injury or death caused directly or indirectly by the Health Provider and you release Rose Virtual Medical Services PTY LTD from liability for any claim arising from any of those circumstances.
5.3. You agree that neither Rose Virtual Medical Services PTY LTD nor any Health Provider is responsible for loss or damage arising due to you failing to provide true or fully complete information or failing to comply with any of your obligations listed in clause 3 (Your obligations).

- General
If any of these terms are held to be invalid or unenforceable, then the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions will not be affected.
